If your bill payment was sent as a check: Eastern Time on the date scheduled to be processed. Future-dated payments can be modified or deleted until 9:00 p.m. Therefore, once a same-day payment request is submitted, it cannot be modified or deleted by you or First Horizon Bank. Same-day bill payment processing begins immediately after you initiate it. Funds deposited may be subject to additional holds. After review, the status will be updated to either “Approved” or “Rejected.” Once approved, your deposit should appear in your account by the next business day. The status will appear as “Submitted” until the item has been reviewed. Once you have submitted a check for deposit, the status of that check will appear in the History tab. Next, type in the amount of the check and select which account to deposit the funds into and select Submit.Next, take a picture of the back of the check following the same steps and tap on Use.When the image is acceptable, our auto capture feature will take the picture for you. Take a picture of the front of the check by following the guidance feature.(Device may prompt you to allow access to your camera.) Tap on the account to choose the account.Sign in to Mobile Banking and select Mobile Deposit in the lower bar menu.The endorsement should read: For Deposit Only to First Horizon Bank Account of. Before you begin, properly endorse your check. The bank needs to rethink letting an untrained person be “in charge” without a strong skill set. They apparently did not have a firm grasp of bank policy or customer service skills. The actions of the employees at the Lake Mary branch of First Horizon Bank were shameful. They offered to complete the transaction. We returned home and called the bank (not the branch). Apparently the situation didn’t concern her. At no point did the woman in the office get involved. At this point we realized we dealing with the irrational duo and left the bank. She laughed again, which validated my fears. I was frightened that she would take additional physical steps towards me and backed away. The teller started to laugh and shouted that she was going to call the police. She said no, then she threatened to call the police, and I realized that her motive was to intimidate. I asked her if I was invading her personal space at this point. She said no she was there to make sure that her coworker’s personal space was not being invaded. I stepped out of the desk area to meet her and I asked her if she was there to help. I turned around and saw that the teller was coming from behind the teller gate and was concerned but not unduly so. She had not been nice to us up to this point, and we were beginning to wonder at the motive. When it appeared that we were not going to be able to resolve the situation, she must have decided that she wanted out of the situation and said that we were suddenly in her personal space and pretended that she was offended in some way. She invited us to speak and one of us got up to get closer to the phone and started to talk to the person at the other end of the line. ![]() The bank worker in front of us first said that she couldn’t put the call on speakerphone, but then magically learned how do it. By this point, we were convinced that we had already provided all the paperwork necessary to do this transaction, and felt that the corporate office should have been able to find the paperwork. She called someone at the corporate office who supposedly validated what she was thinking. ![]() We asked her to call someone and find out what the process was. We asked her to look at the paperwork already on file, which was with Iberia bank before First Horizon purchased it, and she said there was no paperwork there. She pulled up the account and said that there was no paperwork that we were authorized to close the account. We went to her desk and requested an account be closed. She did not get up and greet us at any time. She waited on two gentlemen who had been there before us and had been waiting for her to finish gossiping with the teller, and then called out for the person who wanted to close the account. I said that I didn’t realize that she worked there, and she gave me a dirty look and moved to her desk. She was dressed in a workout pants, a sweatband and a top. After a moment, the woman in front of the teller counter turned and asked us if she could help us. Upon entering, there was one woman working in an office, one woman behind the teller counter and one woman leaning against the customer section of the teller counter. Today, we went to First Horizon Bank located in Lake Mary to close an account. First time I’ve ever been threatened by a bank teller
